<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">

<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">

<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">

<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">Well you can, but you'll always regret it. That's because true love, the way God intended, is a choice to act, not just a feeling. Sure, you can change your mind, but what would that say about you? I wrote about it four years ago. St Paul explained it much more eloquently, and his words are used in a lot of wedding ceremonies: 1 Corinthians 13:4-13. (Too bad so many people who recite them during their vows don't take them seriously! Oh, how much I applaud the ones who do, who recognize them as not only vows to their spouse, but also vows to the LORD.)

<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">What can you do when you've wronged someone? Apologize. Pray. Forgive yourself. Repent (decide never to do that again).
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">

<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">What can you do when you've been unjustly accused of something? Keep your head high, and LOVE THEM ANYWAY: [The original version by Dr. Kent M. Keith] [The paraphrased version by Mother Theresa].
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">

<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">

<img border="0" height="284" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgTR-tfbr2zd7a-bYPQ4NWiVe4m6KGMNJ9ePUDNTMHo-8yvkINx_Xj-s2VWHFm5Mn0D4-kJ1ClHL4HQsK-_MraI72QTMv7cupXMV-1vt-1BuuA0nci46Gakd43By-ZgoKw-7SNmKKziphzZ/s400/WhereIsTheLove.png" width="400" / target="_blank">

<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">

<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">

<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">I'm not saying I am 100% true to all of this all of the time, I'm human and far from perfect. But it's something I aspire to, for sure! I think the world would be a much better place if everyone did, but I do remain true to myself and admit my faults as well as my strengths.
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">

<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">And so I continue on my quest to continually grow as a human being, never reaching the mark that Jesus Christ set for us, but striving nonetheless.http://www.blogger.com/profile/10386462752302482728noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3867108704666586542.post-86773983629287407472013-08-15T10:20:00.000-07:002018-12-07T16:15:49.263-08:00The Secret: Right ThinkingNot only do we reap what we sow, but we become what we think about!
